Nothing Else than Now
Well, my long-awaited week for surgery has arrived. My mother is driving into town today so I will see her when I get off work. I check into the hospital at 9:30 A.M. tomorrow. I do not yet know the contact or visit information for the hospital but I will likely have goose send that information out to you all via email sometime tomorrow. I will try to have her post it here as well. Have a great Monday...I'll be here all day today and I'll post again sometime this evening. For now, I'll leave you with this:
"...that is all your whole life is; now. There is nothing else than now. There is neither yesterday, certainly, nor is there any tomorrow. How old must you be before you know that? There is only now, and if now is only two days, then two days is your life and everything in it will be in proportion. This is how you live a life in two days."
--Ernest Hemingway, "For Whom the Bell Tolls"
